Maybe you should re-think what you're wife is telling you. She said she was bound and gagged at work when you asked why she was late? Uh, I think you're wife must have a secret (fling) going on and she couldn't come up with a better excuse. If you found her bound and gagged then you probably just missed the guy. You should really sit down and have a talk with your wife.

This sounds a bit fishy to me. Where was the boss? Even though this was a bet, it seems totally inappropriate. This could constitute sexual harassment and assault (even if she did consent).
I am hoping this is a joke.
