If you are not looking to lose weight, yes it is! I don't diet nor have I ever dieted....and I am in the best shape I have ever been in- and it all started when I added weights to my routine...I do high repetitions of light weights....on each body part. I do home workouts- and Jari Love is the best! So I have her "Slim and Lean" and let me tell you- it has really defined my legs and made them more slim- I have toned up everywhere....I keep waiting to see it all go away- like this is not going to last....but just continue doing weights- make a routine for yourself. I love food!

Yes you can build your abs for toning without dieting. Trainers may say that dieting is important too, but if your Dr. doesn't say that you need to lose weight I wouldn't diet. But in some cases dieting is needed because no matter how much you work your abs, the waistline appears the be too big or even increases because the the abs get toned underneath the waisteline, and pushes the the fat outwards even further.

Contact me if you ahve further question.

Fat doesn't turn into muscle. It's impossible. Fat is fat, muscle is muscle. It is possible decrease the amount of fat your fat cells are storing and stress your muscle to build new muscle. But they are not interchangeable.

You can do some stomach exercises to tighten your belly, but you could have the toughest stomach in the world, but nobody would know if you have a layer of fat over it.

Sorry to say, you can't just loose fat on one part of your body. It doesn't work that way. If you just want to tighten the muscles in your stomach, do some stomach exercises (sit-ups, leg lifts, etc.) but if you really want to flatten it and get a "washboard" stomach, diet has everything to do with it.

To really see those muscles, you've got to decrease your body fat%. I'm not talking about loosing weight, I'm talking about losing body fat. There is a big difference. Loosing weight may be a side effect, but what you're looking to do is maintain or build muscle while to take the fat off.

I would recommend Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle to teach you how to do that. Hopefully this helps.

Well, if you have fat on your body then you need to lose the fat first bc even though you can build the muscle, if there's fat on top of the muscle, you won't be able to see the definition. At the same time though, when you build muscle you burn calories, increase your metabolism and burn fat faster so of course toning up will help you with that : )

he metabolic powers specific foods have to make your physique burn far more body fat.” It is a way of rating foods, based on “how numerous calories your body is going to burn just breaking down the nutrients each time you consume a specific food.”
Therefore, you are not alone in this battle.
