Ok so this guy i like has recently been talking to me and always calls me darling or beautiful and we always say morning sunshine or w/e and i was thinking of something cute to call him other than plain old cutie...so i thought it'd b cute to say "goodnight moonlight..." is that too stupid? any other names would be very helpful!

No I don't think that is stupid, everyone develops some type of quirks or cute name calling. I call my fiance` cuddlefish, teddy boo, coconut baby fish, fuzzy..ect. In fact I think I make a new one up for him everyday. Have fun and if he can't except you and love you for the quirkness you are then should you really be with him?

I think that is very cute. However, the phrase "good morning sunshine" has been around longer than anyone would anticipate. I'm sure your parents may have said that to each other once before as well as their parents. Also that phrase tends to roll of the tongue easier than ''good night moon light" but the light and night rhyme so no it's not a bad idea and stupid? of course not, when your in love or you really like someone.... in the beginning both the male and female say stupid, dorky cute little things to each other this phrase just happens to be another one of those things.

I think it is the sort of "friendly daft thing" that couples can get away with saying to each other - so what if everyone else thinks it a bit unusual.
If it means soemthing to both of you then that is ALL that matters. Let it be your special little phrase - or perhaps one of many!

no it is not stupid if he likes that name than thats something between the two of you and nobody else. You can have many names for each other i think its really indearing good luck
