The fact that you are showering your dog with love is commendable but in fact it is contributing to her problem.
Keep the love to a minimum and then it won't be as much of a wrench for her when you leave (sounds crazy and cruel but it works) I'm not saying don't pet your dog but don't go overboard and be mothering it to death either.
Many dogs respond well to crates, they like having a space of their own - it makes them feel more secure.
Also, don't make a big deal out of leaving the house, don't fuss over your dog before you leave or she'll go crazy when you do.
Good luck!

I didn't like the idea of crating my Pomeranian, either. When she was about a year old she started developing less than ideal traits, such as going to the bathroom all over the floor when I left and tearing up socks, underwear, and toilet paper. What I did was I bought a small port-a-crib at a garage sale and, after sanitizing it, would put her in it anytime she was to be left unattended (even if I had to go to the bathroom!). I would put her in there with toys, treats, and a food and water dish so she wouldn't feel as if she was being punished. When she would come out of the crib without any problems, she would be praised and then would get my attention. After a while, she knew that if she was good and enjoyed her favorite toys and treats while I was gone, she would get my undivided attention when I came back. It really worked! Sometimes diverting their attention from the negative into the positive can really help. Good luck!

That image is a untimely puppy. there is not any such element as a Teacup something. definite, they're only Pomeranians... if no longer, they're the RUNT of the muddle (the smalltest) yet def. no longer a teacup. "Teacup" canines have many many wellness themes simply by their small length- in case you get one, basically rescue one from the guard. do no longer provide organization to ANY breeder who breeds TEACUPS because no human being respected ought to attempt this.

Crate her when you leave. Don't put her crate by the door so she can see you leave.
I put in my dog's Kong in the crate with a milkbone and a little peanut butter inside. It distracts her long enough for us to leave.
She barks for a few minutes but is always laying down sleeping when we get home.
Dogs need the comfort of the confined space to feel safe. I used to think it was cruel but like anything else, if it keeps them safe, do it.
Once you get the routine down, as soon as she sees you with the Kong, she will go to the crate. Whatever you do, DON'T use the crate as punishment or this will not work.

Sounds like she suffers from separation anxiety. There are scents (like air fresheners) that you can buy at pet stores to help calm them. Try leaving a radio or tv on also. There are even special cd's you can buy (amazon) that are suppose to calm pups as well. One really good one is Canine Lullabies. It has the sound of a heart beat in the background. Ask your vet also - I'm sure he/she would have some really good ideas as well.
Good luck!

If your going to keep a Pomeranian, you had probably better get used to this behavior. I have three Poms of my own. It doesn't get any better with some. They need a lot of love and attention, and they hate being left alone. We have one that really craves attention, so we take her with us, whenever we can.
