let's turn the question around: dollars input to the community by immigrants last year; how much was earned?
how many new hospitals, prison, health care etc. were built because immigrants work as hard as folk born here and pay taxes, too?

The cost of immigration is not significant, anti-immigrants inflate this number by including criminals in jail, illegal immigrants family in school, which they are citizens, unpaid hospital bills, which should not be related to immigrants, sick people is sick people and should not be labeled, so in general immigrants do nothing but put money into the system that they never claim. Anti immigrants twist the numbers with the only reason to promote HATE.
