or any devotions I attempt to have. Christians do you have suggestions. It feels as if my mind is going 100 mph. I think it is Satan's trick to keep me from a close relationship with the Lord.

I pray and tell God all the things that I'm worried about and then I ask Him to help me focus on Him and not on those things and then I start my devotion. I hope it works for you :)

in many situations my dad purely reads in luke for about quarter-hour, and each so often matthew about the demise of Christ, and then he prays and then 9 little ones who've all memorized the terrific verse, will all bypass and scream to the can provide before he says something else, and, in its own, insane, yet unique way, its sortof a great custom..

My suggestion is to speak with your local church's pastor. Or whatever church you go to, they will gladly pray with you. I'll pray for you also.
