I don't know how you're making it, but here are some suggestions: diced onion, diced sweet pickles, diced pimentos, chopped boiled egg, diced tomatoes. Use mayonnaise and don't drain the tuna, instead, crush about 1/4 pack of crackers per 6 oz. can of tuna to absorb liquid. My favorite way of serving it is to cut 8 wedges nearly all the way through into a large tomato, and open it and fill it with the tuna salad. This is a tuna-stuffed tomato. If you do stuff the tuna into the tomatoes, I'd suggest leaving the diced tomatoes out of the tuna. That would be an over-kill of tomato.

I make basic Tuna Salad with mayo, &sweet pickle relish. They I add Mandarin Oranges, sliced water chestnuts and raisins. Right before serving I mix in some Grapenuts, sounds weird, but everyone loves it and asks what the crunchy ingredient is!

I make my tuna with:
1 can sweet corn
1/2 onion chopped
1-2 jalapenos(mexican) ones-depends how spicy they are you can tell by their smell
1-2 tbsp. mayonaise
3 sticks of chopped celery gives it a crunch
1 whole chopped tomatoe
don't forget to drain your tuna, mix all together and eat with crackers. Its very delicious!!!!!
Enjoy and it makes about 4-5 servings depends on how many cans of tuna you use.

I load my tuna salad up with veggies, radish onion, gr and red pepper, sometimes cukes (deseed them). A great lo carb idea is to serve your tuna salad in a 1/2 of pepper. Also, make your own sauce-I often make on with milk salad dressing pepper, salt and sugar. Its really good.

Add in chopped mild onion, chopped celery and also chop in some red or green peppers too. They will really jazz up the salad.

I like putting chopped pecans or walnuts, chopped jalapenos (fresh or from a jar), celery, part lime juice or part lemon juice and cut the mayo in half of what I normally put in it because of adding the lime/lemon juice in it. I like using lime or lemon juice instead of using vinegar. Sometimes, I add chopped dill pickles, black pepper or crushed red pepper flakes in it. It just depends on my mood on what I do. I normally don't measure any ingredients, I put in everything in to taste.

I know others who put apples or raisins in theirs and I don't care for that much. I don't put onion in mine either. I rather have a tart/spicy taste than a sweet taste. I either eat it in pita bread or on a bed of lettuce with tomato slices. I don't like putting tomato in the tuna salad because it changes the taste of it especially if there's leftovers of it. The natural water content in the tomato will dilute the taste of the other flavors if you put it in the salad.

You could put a Louis Armstrong CD on while you eat it.

But seriously how about some diced red onion and or some red peppers and basil or sweetcorn.

Or some Marks and Spencers original recipe Beetroot!

Yum Yum

Do you mean plain tuna salad? or pasta tuna salad? You can put in capers for a zippy taste.....or some mandarin oranges for a fresh citrus taste
