I see no lack of common sense, the CH-46 helicopters are getting to be old and becoming harder and harder to maintain. Thus the new V-22 will change alot of things for the Marines. The usmc has some of the best pilots in the world.

It seem that the area was not sparsely populated and the pilot had control all the way in. Training teaches you to shoot for the spot that will A. Do the least damage to human life. and B. Aim for the softest landing area to minimize damage thereby increasing the chances of survival. This was the Anbar region and extremely hostile to our troops.

listen, you aren't to any extent further a sociopath. you aren't to any extent further even close. a range of of the belongings you're speaking about are regular for a 13 quickly to be 14 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous guy. You do have rigidity, and that is what's causing you to obsessively problem about a number of this stuff. you want to seek for suggestion from including your dad and mom, your regular practitioner, or another man or woman you may have self belief about rigidity. rigidity may have an really unfavourable result each so often, like it is having on you, yet there are remedies accessible for it.

It's a bit arrogant to Monday-morning-quarterback the decision of a pilot in autogyro mode. On the other hand, I've always wondered about the sanity of anybody whose job description is, "Those guys over there are shooting at you. Get up and go after them," when any sane person would hide or run. Thank God we have people like that.

First of all, there is a lot more water over there than most people think.
Second of all, maybe it was the safest place to land - are you a pilot?? Have you ever had to make an emergency landing??
It is very rude of you to turn a tragedy into a chance to make fun of someone's intelligence. Shame on you.

Why don't you just be glad that you didn't know any of those marines? I have a husband in the Marines and even though he's not deployed right now, I still cry when I hear about people dying. You don't know what went wrong.

Before you criticize the Marine pilots for "choosing" the wrong location for a crash landing, please tell us what flight certificates (licenses) you have, and their numbers so I can verify them with the FAA's web site.
YOU are the one lacking in good common sense. Now, piss off.

One doesn't always get to chose when mechanical failures occur. And in a helicopter, when a failure occurs, one is very limited on a landing zone.

Instead of criticizing the men who died, how about showing some compassion since we will never know what happened since we were not there. It is easy to Monday night quarterback when we are safe at home isn't it?
