I know this is a weird question, but the thought kind of bothers me. I know the Bible lists all kinds of goods and ills in regards to sex between a married couple, but what of during pregnancy? I know in some cultures and times, that the woman was considered unclean but holy during the time she was with child.

Please serious answers only. (I will flag all others for abuse.) Scriptural references appreciated.

I don't believe that there are any Bible "rules" on sex during pregnancy... If you feel comfortable with it and don't feel 'unclean' then I personally think that it's such a sign of love and closeness to be that intimate during pregnancy :)

Congratulations by the way! All the best.

It doesn't say regarding pregnancy.

If you are not married, then of course you shouldn't.

But if you are married, this is what the Bible says:

1 Corinthians 7:4-5
"The wife's body does not belong to her alone, but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone, but also to his wife. Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control."

you are able to have sex with your husband during the pregnancy and there is nothing in the Bible that tells us not to. enjoy and may the Lord bless your child for His glory!

I know of no Biblical condemnation of this. Enjoy now, as you may lose the urge for a while once the baby is born. Just be cautious and don't get too rough.

I don't know of any scriptures that state you cannot have sex while pregnant. But it does talk about giving freely of yourselves to eachother.

I don't feel anything wrong with it.

Enjoy!

I'm pretty much possitive it's ok. Me and wife still did, until later on when we didn't want to risk early labour. So go ahead and God Bless.
