And I have certainly dated guys that hung out with exes and were friends. I haven't run into a situation where it's been a problem....all the cheaters have cheated with "new" women :)

A relationship should be based on trust. If you feel you can trust your girlfriend to the extent of allowing her the freedom of association with former friend (of which her ex is one), you should be able to sleep easily. If however you've started off this relationship in distrust - i.e when you've "stolen" her from her ex, then you have a serious problem . . .

Exes can be friends, certainly without getting any closer. If they broke up, it was for a reason, and they know that a relationship between them WOULD NOT WORK, so why try again?
If you have spent so much time with this person and they were your best friend when you were together, unless something tragic happened, i don't know why you would want to give them up completely when there is a break up.
SO I'm just saying that people should be allowed to be friends with exes with out other people assuming that they still have feelings for each other.

The only reason, 99% of the time, that people hang out with their ex is for NSA sex. They lie and lie to you and they know they can't have a relationship with them, but they DO know how to get what they want out of each other in bed.
Don't buy this cr@p. Yes I would freak out.
Oh by the way this is you we are talking about right? Your ex-bf is trying to get you back into bed. And you are thinking about it. I bet I am right.
I bet your bfs were doing their exes behind your back. You were so trusting you didn't see it. Notice those guys also cheated on you with other women?
