Yes, you should. Don't be afraid of it because it maybe hard. It's gonna be useful to the rest of your life. It's actually easier for you while you're young. The cost you may pay today is definitely for an easier life of tomorrow.

Hi Slacker!

Spanish has now overtaken English as the No. 1 language (apart from Mandarin Chinese) in terms of number of 1st language speakers. Therefore, I'd strongly recommend that you take it because, if you're going to go into the world of business - like I did - or many other avenues - you'll find it amazingly useful.

By the way, it's not "really hard" - it's pretty logical and nothing like as hard as English to master to a good level. I studied it post-school as an adult, and I've used it for over 20 years in business and now, semi-retired, I still use it a lot in business and on holidays to Spain and Mexico. Go for it, if you can fit it into your curriculum!

Absolutely. Spanish is the second most used language in the world, after english, so it would really be helpfull and not a waste of tiime for you to learn it. It's not as hard as you think, you will do fine if you like the language, like anything else, you will learn much quicker with desire. So, I hope you do take it and succeed. Good Luck.

I say yes! Actually I'm out of school now and I'm trying very hard to learn a language. It's MUCH more difficult when you're older, and if you really learn it well, it will literally open up an entire new world for you. Imagine the new places you can travel, new people you can meet, new foods you can try, new cultures to experience, and new entertainment opportunites!

Good luck!
