You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Truthfully, the secret is successful and healthy weight (fat) loss is not quick. If you do lose more than about 3 lbs a week, it is probably water weight. Excessive exercise or calorie reduction, may drop pounds quickly in the beginning, but will only slow you metabolism in the long run.
It's best to go into weight loss with realistic expectations so you don't get disappointed and give up.
1-2.5 lbs a week is a great start.

Don't you think if there was some kind of miracle weight loss program that everyone would be thin?
There is no secret to quick weight loss. You have to eat smaller portions, no soda or fast/junk food and exercise for an hour everyday.
That's it. If you burn more calories than you take in, I guarantee you'll lose weight.

If there's was a secret than somebody would be sickly rich right now. For safe and effective weight loss you need to use proper eating, resistance training and cardio. Eat 5-7 small meals per day, lifting use lifts that utilize the most muscle mass (i.e.., squats, benching, dead lifts, etc.), and a variety of cardio along with interval training used once or twice a week.

At the bottom of http://www.GoldPlanSuccess.com there is a link to a program called "La Bomba." This is an excellant program for anyone starting a weight loss plan. It will give you a quick start and you can lose up to 10 pounds in 3 days with it.

make it a point to use the steps whenever possible use the bathroom on a different floor at work take the stairs at the bus station the airport or the mall
