Okay...I am thirteen and I am determined to help someone this Christmas. I like to buy presents for people that can't afford them...but I can't find any group homes or anything in Virginia. Do you know of any group homes or "orphanages" in Virignia that I can go onto their website and check it out? Thanks a bunch!

What about through your church? We have an angel tree and we buy gifts for the families that need them. Just a thought! Or try the Salvation army like the person before me answered. Good Luck it's nice to see someone so young WANT to get involved!

Your quest is a very noble one. I bet if you asked around, you could find a very needy family close by. Try asking at your local church or synagogue or homeless shelter.
There's also the Salvation Army, soup kitchen or food pantry.
