i went on holiday a year ago and met a great guy, he was so nice and sweet and so lovely i really had fallen for him but i went back home and he went to his home. i need to get a plane over there and it is tricky so we broke up. i started seeing this guy who i have known for my whole life, but that didnt work out either. i have started e mailing the guy i met on holiday, web cam and audio and we get on great. i really think i love him he knows me so well. i dont want to say anything because it might not work like last time, any ideas are welcome?

Well, I'm wondering how he's your "ex" if you never really dated him. The real question you seem to be asking is, how do I make a long distance relationship work.
Unfortunately, there's no good answer beyond what you're doing. Talk to him when you can, see him when you can, and hope that it works out.
The only other idea I have is... one of you move to where the other is... don't move in... just move nearer. Find a job, go on with your life as normal, but you get to see each other once in awhile.
Long distance relationships are very very difficult. Good luck.

How far away does he live?
Sometimes people we meet on holiday are just out for a good time and only show you their charming, adorable side. Long distance relationships make it impossible to have a realistic picture of someone we met while on vacation.

Just keep taking it one day at a time, because by the sound of it he feels the same if he is spending so much time keeping in touch.....
it might get to the stage where you both blurt it out,

Try.................personally i will be shy to do so, i will rather wait for him to start up something cuz one day if there is a problem again, he is going to say "u came back running after me "....keeping the pride is important but i guess not with love.

~It'll end up like last time. He's using you for Internet sex, isn't he? If you "think" you love him, then you don't. Don't be so desperate to have a boyfriend, it'll happen when you meet the right one.~
