If you have 18 of the 40 credits you need to graduate high school after your Freshman year. Can you graduate (Lets assume your in the class of 2010) in 2009 if you have all 40 by the end of your junior year?

Depends. Some states require that to graduate, you must have attended at least 7 semesters or 11 trimesters. If that's the case, then you could graduate, at the earliest, in January/February of 2010 (trimesters) or December of 2009 (semesters.) If your state has no such law, then there should be no problem with graduating early as long as you have all of your credits.

I don't think so, but maybe things have changed since I was in high school. If you graduate early, that means you'd have to take more classes than usual in one year. High school guidance counselors are unlikely to let a student cram that much into one year, but maybe it depends on the school. It might also depend on your grades. If you're not acing all of your classes, there's no way they'll let to take on even more classes just to graduate early. Don't bite off more than you can chew. And don't be in a rush to enter the real world - if I could, I would have spent more than 4 years in high school - it was the time of my life! No responsibility!
