Do not try to lose 17 lbs in two weeks. You can seriously damage your health by taking such drastic measures. Just exercise and eat healthy. Use the food pyramid as a guideline to eat healthy. Eat lots of whole grains, fruit, vegetables, and get plenty of protein. The best combination for a diet in terms of percentage of fat/protein/carbs is as follows:
40% Carbs (Complex carbs found in whole grains are the best)
30% Fat (Try to avoid saturated fat)
30% Protein
Try to jog 2 miles a day. I lost 30 lbs in 3 months by using the guidelines above. Please see the link below for more helpful information. Good luck!

Its unhealthy and unrealistic to try to lose that much weight in 2 weeks, and unless you're 4 and a half feet tall you're fine the way you are. Try going for a one hour walk every morning before you do anything else. That will get your metabolism up real high right from the start of your day. Then eat a balanced diet and start jogging for half an hour every other day. You'll look and feel great.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

If you drink 'Alfalfa Tea' every night, you will lose more than that in the first four days, but don't over do it. The Chinese warn you can get too skinny from using this too often. This will get rid of excess water.

you cant lose that much weight and be healthy in 2 weeks. It is impossible. But to lose that weight in a healthy way---> less carbs more vegetables and protein.
