Well as long as your works done, surfing the net is fun. One of my favorite things to do is to go on Ebay and look up anything and everything. ha. You could ask a co-worker if they need any help, but once they know you're willing they might come for more help so beware. Oh and coming on here is always fun too! Good Luck!

i have the same exact work schedule as a receptionist. i am bored a lot of the times as well. sometimes i talk on the phone for a while, but a lot of the time i am surfing the net doing random things such as answering your question now! if you have school work, you can do that or bring a book or magazine to work with you.

Wow...I have the same problem....I always get my work done quickly and then I am out of things to do before noon. What I have been doing lately is asking other co-workers if they need help with anything, or if there is anything that I can take over for them, I will clean, take out the trash, and when there is nothing else to do...I get on yahoo answers...lol...

i am in the same exact position as you... i come onto yahoo and help answer people's questions... i also created an msn account - free - which i go on and play games... eats up the time... i pay bills, text message, and pretty much make sure that all my work is done and ask everyone if they have anything i can help them with before i meander into my little universe... if you have any suggestions let me know! lol...

This was me a few years ago, ask around the office and see if someone else needs help with something. But I must warn you, once you start asking they will come to you and ask if you can assist them all the time.

I take online work related courses that apply to my job or something that is of interest to me. Ask your boss they usually will pay for learning online. If not, ask to help others that you can learn from...who knows where that next job will come from. Just keep learning.
