I love living in Scotland - there's a smoking ban up here, and it's wonderful. It's really noticeable when I go down south, and there's smoke in the restaurant / bar that you're in, which sticks to your hair, your clothes - everything. Roll on the nationwide smoking ban!

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Can you explain what you want?
In Ohio (starting Dec. 7th) smoking is prohibited in all public places. The State Health Dept. will start enforcing in about 6 months. There is a 6 month "grace period" so to speak to give companies and businesses time to get signs, etc. in order.
It will be sooo nice to go into a place and not have to ask for non-smoking. I can leave a restaurant or public place and not have my clothing reek of tobacco.

As a none smoker I look forward to the ban.As a resident of Britain, I wonder what other freedoms of choice this government will ban.

Well if people don't know they are in a non-smoking section then there's no help available for the twits! Anyway I wouldn't dream of sitting in non-smoking. I sit in the lively part!

There is no smoking in any public building in Mass so they're not necessary.
