Is he nuetered? If not this a big factor in his aggression. Alot of times dogs who arent socialized as puppies will be weary of strangers and other dogs, causing barking growling and even biting in extreme cases. If you dog wasnt around a variety of new dogs as a puppy, this may be the reason for his aggression. But dont give up, there is no problem that cant be fixed for dogs. When trained properly, they respond to a new ways great. My ultimate advice to you - watch the Cesar Millan show that on the Discovery channel. Hes great with any difficult dog problem. Just watching his show will help you with your dog's aggression problems. He even deals with dogs that are destined to be to sleep for what Cesar calls "Red Zone" aggression, which your dog of course doesnt have. But nonetheless his show is very informative on how to respond to a variety of dog problems or just to get to know your pet better.
I think Romeo the Ratty is a rat. And bien is an idiot. Both dont deserve the two points

In addition to neutering the dog, and training classes, you might want to consider where he is meeting the other dogs. If you are introducing him to other dogs, this needs to be done in "neutral territory." This means don't let him meet other dogs in his home or what he would consider his "territory." Also, don't take him to meet dogs in their territory. If they can be introduced somewhere where neither dog is really familiar with, it might make the introduction easier as neither will be "guarding their turf".
Also, if he is being nice, make sure to praise him, but if he starts growling or seeming aggressive, rebuke him with your voice. Usually a sharp "No" will scare him and let him no that you do not approve.

least your dog isn't attacking other dogs like mine.it could esculate to this unless you act now.is your dog on the lead when he does this?if so it could be he feels defensive, and cant escape if trouble was to happen, try letting him off [aslong as he has good recall]and see what happens.if your dog is doing this at all times regardless of whether he's on the lead or not then you may need to seek provessional advice of a good trainer.another point to add is how old is he?is he neutered?if he isn't neutered then i would advice you do,alot of aggresive or dominant behaviour is due to males trying to prove them selves towards other males.good luck

I think he may be nervous around other dogs. To remedy this, take treats out with you when you go for a walk, whenever you see a dog coming towards you, offer your dog a treat, take his attention away from the other dog. It wont be long before he takes no notice of anyone but you on your walks!!

Best thing is to get more socialization for you dog via a training class. Doing it this way is good because you will have a trainer right there to help you specifically with any behavioral issues that may arise. A good trainer is priceless and I wouldn't trade mine for anything!
Good Luck!

distract him with a special toy when other dogs are around.
it needs to be a really good toy that he only gets on walk or when other dogs are there not just at home.
