volleyball is just another sport but its pretty major... the middle school teams were undefeated and the high school team took 3rd in state! But our town is also small, but good!

Well to me volleyball is not just another sport at my highschool. Volleyball is my main sport, and id play it over any other sport even cross country in which i went to states. Unfortunately volleyball doesnt get much attention from others and not many people try out, at least for the guys. The girls volleyball team is a diferent story. The girls team at my highschool won states and actualy had quite a following. I just wish that more guy would give it a try, because volleyball is the best sport out there in my opinion.

Volleyball for a long time was one of the best sports in my high school. We won a lot of our games. Recently, however, we have not been doing so well and it has fallen into the "sports we never win in" category (which, at my school, is bigger than the "good sports teams" category). For most girls, it was a workout or warm-up for basketball season, so, yeah, it basically was just another sport. However, I absolutely love it and still play it even though I didn't make the team at my college. It may be just another sport for some, but it is my life and my dream.

First of all,cheerleading isn't a sport.
I am not in high school yet.
I am trying out for the volleyball team, and I have made the first cut,and we have not had the second-cut tryouts yet.
For the first tryout, about 65-70 girls from middle school ONLY came to try out. So,I guess, based on these results, that volleyball is NOT "just another sport".

Well at my high school volleyball is only just gaining respect as we've sent a team to the county finals three straight years and won two of them. We've also placed pretty good in regionals and were one win away from going to provincials this year. But the school still doesn't spend any of the budget on us.

Girls Volleyball is the winningest sport in my school. We have had a program for 12 years and have won the league title 8 of those years and made it to the district playoffs every year, and to state playoffs 4 times. Unfortunately we do not have a boys program (yet).

Our varsity team is amazing!!! It is not supported nearly as much as football or cheerleading but its not bad. I have some respect for volleyball players' work ethic though, cuz i don't kno about your school but our gir ls are all a lot hotter than the cheer leaders... there's just something about those spandex.. ha ha jk,
