I have weird dreams like that, too. I dreamt that I was in prison and another time that I was being executed.....really strange. I wouldn't be bothered by it if I were you. I don't believe that dreams mean anything.

Sounds like you have some concerns about the welfare of yourself and your daughter. There must be some sort of unusual stress in you life at present.
Resolve the stressful issue and the dreams should stop.
OR, it could be that you are just an over-protective parent.
If THIS is the case, maybe you should start giving you daughter a little more rope. Once you allow her to grow up some, and you see that everything is going to be O.K. the dreams should stop.
GOOD LUCK!!

I think it means that you feel very responsible toward her. You know her life depends on you so your stress shows in your dreams by putting you in situations where you have to save her.

Since you don't die, but think you will, it probably means you are doubting your abilities as a parent. Is there something you would like to do better? Does someone make you feel inferior?

If you can figure out where you need to improve, or how someone is making you question yourself, then your dreams will stop.

Sounds like a therapy issue to me. If you are not seeing a therapist, you probably need to be. Something is making you feel paranoid, and you need to find out what.

I have same dreams too, it's either me or my dad dying. I'm so scared and depressed.
