Do you mean Citalopram? I've never taken it myself but it's a mood stabiliser used quite a lot in depression so it is often mistaken as an anti-depressant; i have also seen it used successfully to help with extreme anger management problems although this was in addition to anger management groups and sessions.

The medication is really good for a variety of things; as with all medication there is a slight risk of side effects which will be listed on the leaflet. If my doctor prescribed it i wouldn't have any qualms in taking it.

It has made a world of difference i was taking seroxat (paroxatine) for 10 years with terrible side effects when i tryed to come off it i went on to citalpram and now i only take 5mg every 3rd day soon be free of it. It is a good drug and it helped me so much

I'm on citalopram and have been for over a year and to be honest it just makes me feel normal !! =)
when i have cut down though my syptoms come back =( so I will stick with it. way better for me than prozac

better than prozac but not as good as venlafaxine IMO
