I read somewhere to use exfoliating products and moisturizing products, but there are so many out there. Which one is the best.

Typically what you have is called combination skin, probably with the T zone (forehed through nose & chin areas oily and all other areas combined are dry). If this is your case. Noxema would be a great product for you. It cleans the skin by removing excess oils and disinfection the skin but at the same time it mousturizes. Don't use scrubs too often they can create problems with your skin later. A gentle cleansing will do just fine. If you need a mouturizer throughout the day a light day creme/lotion is best you don't want to put a heavy creme or night creme on because they are excessive with the oils. Good Luck.

i would reccomend buying something that is designed "for combination skin". some products say on the bottle. no matter what your skin type is you should be using a moisturizer w/ spf daily to prevent aging from sun damage and peeling from dryness. if you tend to get oily patches, check the ingredients to see if it's water or oil based (naturally you will have less problems with shininess with a water based product. olay regenerist products are a little pricey, but excellent. if pimples are a concern for you try using products that contain salicytic acid. you should cleanse, tone, and moisturize twice a day and exfoliate 1-2 x weekly.

I use Clinique for combination skin; it took about 3 weeks to see a difference, but now my skin is clear, soft, and I barely have to use ANY makeup. The price may seem steep for the 3-step set, BUT it lasts for at least 6 months. If you add up the prices of replacing over-the-counter items (which you have to use more of to get the desired effect, therefore you run out faster), the results are about equal. You'll never use anything else after you try the 3-step!
