I just did this.

Step 1: reload Itunes using your CD.

Step 2: in your Itunes program folder there is a folder with all your songs. copy this to your new Itunes program folder on the mac.

You need to make sure that iTunes on the Mac is authorized with your Itunes account. Then burn a cd with your iTunes msuic from the PC and copy it to your iMac. When you play the songs, it will ask you to log into your iTunes account, after which you can play the music. Once you do this and it works successfully, you should de-authorize iTunes on the PC, especially if you wish to give it away or donate it.

i think that if you hook up the two computers together by a network you will be able to transfer your songs. i no that mac will recognize windows when you put it on the network. an easier way is to back them up on dvds and put them on your mac afterwards. or usb and transfer them that way.
