You've just started dating, so I'd keep things light. Just for laughs, I'd suggest a lump of coal in a stocking. And if you want to follow up with a 'real gift' go to your local tractor supply and ask for suggestions. This may sound crazy, but there's a device called a 'come along' that is used by farmers for building fences, etc. He'd be surprised to get that gift. Gloves are also a good gift for a farm boy. have fun

I don't know about him - but most men I know - rich or poor - would appreciate very tasty homemade baked goods. It's very appropriate to give someone you just started dating. You have to be very careful not to scare him off - most men I know will freak if they sense that you are pushing a commtiment on them or feeling like they are obligated to you before they are ready for such things. Let him be the one to communicate to you "I care alot about you." Give him the sense that he's in charge here and you'll win his heart for sure! Push for too much too soon and he'll run.
