My dad is very loving, but sometimes he hits me. He is constantly calling me a cold hearted b*tch. He always swears and says the f word. When he is loving, he always taps me on the butt. I tell him to stop, but he never does. It's so annoying. I'm 15 yrs. old and I'm sick of him tapping my butt. It even hurts and he does it in public. What do I do to get him to stop?

maybe you should tell your mom about this. when he starts calling you names and all, don't fight back and don't appear angry. if you fight back or look annoyed, you're entertaining him, thus encouraging him to shoot more bad words to you. be kind, gentle, patient and apologise (even if you know that you're not wrong). he may somehow notice that and guilt will well in him.
about him tapping your butt.. it just.. doesnt' sound right. tell your mom about this too. maybe she might be able to help you.

I started to get beat at the age of 9 years old and was to afraid to just walk away or say anything to anyone. Now I tell all the children that I know that if some one is treating you like a piece of dirt you should talk to some other adult about it and it does not have to be anybody in your family. Back 45 years ago I tried to talk with some one at our school and it did no good but now you have allot of people that will give you help and that will show you that they truly care about what happens to you. If it gets to bad if I was you I would get out of there as soon as I could and get my stuff later and then your dad would know that you mean business and that you are a human being. Good Luck!!!

Get help as soon as possible. It's physical and emotional abuse and getting to close to sexual abuse. If your mom is in the picture sit her down and talk to her. If she's to blind to see the wrong in it call an abuse hotline or go to the police. You need to get out of the situation somehow before he goes to far. It's not right.

I'm going to be honest with you, this is the life now a days and there is nothing you can do about it unless he is leaving visual marks on you. Even if you told some one they re not gonna care, I'm go through the exact same thing.

This IS abuse. Your father is in serious need of counseling from a mental health professional. What I strongly urge you to do is go to your mother and tell her everything. Good Luck.
