as long as his nose is dry and eyes are clear he should be ok. It's winter and he is getting his full coat and is probably sneezing from a little tickle. Just keep your eyes on is nose and his appetite, if there is any changes, take him to the vet. KITTY!!!!!!!!

Does your cat curl up on the fireplace like mine used to do? The dust around the fireplace used to make her sneeze.
It's probably something like that or else a seasonal cold. Keep an eye on Wally and if he gets worse then try the vet.

Animals can "catch" viruses just as people can. They will often be self limiting provided the cat is otherwise healthy. One of the biggest problems with cats is when they feel poorly they have a tendency to stop eating. Getting them to eat when they feel ill can be a real challenge. If the cat is over weight this poses other potentially life threatening issues.
Watch your cat carefully, be sure he is eating and keep him indoors if he goes out. If his eyes become involved (discharge, signs of discomfort such as squinting etc), or if he stops eating, or there is colored discharge from the nose he should see the vet right away.
Of course sneezing can be caused by things other than viruses but that is the most common.

I think it may just be an allergy thing. I have three cats and they all have the sniffles from time to time and we have smokers in the house as well. I dont think it is that serious, mine all seem to be fine other than an occasional sneeze so I am not too concerned with them.
