you can buy on line from http://www.target.com or http://www.homedepot.com and many more Hardware stores which ever nearest to you.Cost is around $ 5.99 if you want colored one add $ 1 more.

You can usually buy toilet seats at the larger home supply stores. Lowe's, Home Depot to name a couple. There are two bolts that hold the seat on, you'll need a screwdriver (sometimes phillips and sometimes standard or straight) and an adjustable wrench to remove the old one and install the new one. They are usually priced from $20- to high tech digital ones for $600.
There is a Home Depot on Rhode Island Avenue just inside the Maryland line.

you get them at Walmart, K-mart, and your local hardware stores, for your best bet, look in the yellow pages of your area, some stores even specalize in them, i know they have a few places in California, thats all they sell are toilet seats, just to name a few of what they have: they have them with pennies, seashells,barbwire,jewels,plain, its a nice little shop, but i only know of it in California
