First of all, it's a pap smear, and you probably will need birth control pills and yes, tell your mom. You're underage and she has a right to know. I told my mom, she was fine with it, but I was 18.

By law a doctor can not tell your mom if you go in to get birthcontrol or if you are a virgin or not. They can treat you and give you what you need and if you use your moms insurance to cover it the bill will just come up as doctors Visit. But i do tell you just for personal reasons you might want to tell your mom just incase the birthcotrol fails or something happends with your boyfriend.

A pap smear is a medical procedure done by a medical professional designed to detect cervical cancer. Adult women which is what you are physically should have one every year. It has nothing to do with your having sex with your BF. There is no reason to tell your mother except it is probably the right thing to do as she can help you protect yourself from unwanted pregnancy and disease.
Luck

If you think you are mature enough to have sex, then you should be mature enough to talk about it with your mother. Having a pap is nothing big...every woman must go through it....you should start to recieve them at the age of 18...or when you become sexually active. If you are going to continue having sex, do ask about protection, and since you are under age your mom might want to be there....but its up to you....if you are to scared you can always go to Planned Parenthood..So just because you have had sex it doesn't make you a bad person. I wish you the best of luck...

Patient privacy is essential in every clinic...Go ahead, have your pap because your mom DOES NOT have to be in the exam room with you. Tell the Registered Nurse you want to keep it a secret from your mom.
The pap results will not say whether you're a virgin or not...it will only identify infections or other irregularities.

I wouldn't tell her shyt unless the doctor points something out. I had my first pap smear at around 15 and had already lost my virginity. The doctor examined me. I was healthy. The doctor didn't say anything to her and she never had to know. I was being safe and responsible and felt no need to make my mom uncomfortable. If she confronts you and you want to tell her, then go ahead.

Girl believe me!!!!!!!! Been there done that. Your mom more than likely knows what's up. She won't tell you anything because she's waiting for you to tell her. After that she'll be like "I already knew" Good Luck. Your mom should be your best friend.

Since you are 17, the doctor must keep you status as a virgin a secret. Don't worry.

Being the mother of a 15 yr old . I think it is best if you tell her before the doctor does because that would hurt me to think my daughter couldn't tell me things.. she deserves for you to tell her. good luck
