i just went to docs office and i have no infections of any sort to do with the kidneys or bladder . . i was wondering what else can make u feel like someone punched you in the back were the kidneys are located ?

well i dont drink sodas and if i do there diet ones and for sweets its not like i eat pounds of it each day and plus it wasnt a reg md he was my gyn. because i have a tumor in my uterus the size of an orange .

If the Dr. performed the correct tests and you are opiositive it is not an infection you should be tested for diabetes or other kidney problems. I recommend going to your regular physician and or having them refer you to a specialist. Good Luck.

I agree with graciegirl. A kidney specialist will be more accurate to diagnosed. If u don't have kidney failure then keep watch with ur blood pressure and foods u eat. So much sweets and pop make ur kidneys have a punch like that.

You very well might have kidney stones. If the pain gets really sharp and you can not sit still then it is stones. I have been dealing with them now for over25 years. Sometimes you will see blood in your urine. Sometimes you feel like you have to urinate but nothing happens when you go to the bathroom. I am really surprised that your doctor did not send you for KUB, exrays, blood work to find out what was causing the pain. I would be looking for another doctor if I was you. Any GOOD doctor would have.

kidney failure? you should see a specialist for that not a regular MD, you wouldn't take your mercedes to a nissan dealer would you?

Hmm- have you actually had your back and spine examined? That's the only other thing I can think of.
