When a guy says he would love you if he was single what does it mean?
i was dating a guy for a while we both were very physically attracted to one another and things broke up as i was upset about my job etc a little needy at the time...he always stares at me when we are out and the other day i apoligised to him and he said i was one of the most lovely people he had met and that initially he was intimidated by my job ( i have quite a high powered job and earn good money) he also said he thought i was gorgeous back then and still does, i said i was leaving and he kept on grabbing me and said he would love me...if he was single..When i chatted about one of my ex boyfriends he got jealous and said 'what about us?'. He has only just started to date someone else..i have always been infatuated with him and vice versa..what should i do should i ask him for a drink as friends, i think he could of beena potential one

Well it seems he is not single and only wanting to swing
Turn around and run.
He may not be married but he has something else going on.
If you want to break up a marriage or another relationship for his needyness go for it but you had better think how many are going to get hurt.
he doesnt sound to stable....he is not the one and he even told you that....if he were single

Is this guy married. If, he is, he is hitting on you. If he is single, ask him out for a drink and see where it leads. But be careful. he may use that same line on others.

Just leave him alone he sounds like a creep to me. How would you feel if your boyfriend told another women he would love them if he was single? I am sure you wouldn't like it. Leave him alone he is bad news.

I would just move on. Obviously he is involved and doesn't want to leave the other person alone. Keep it moving.

He sounds like he wants his cake and to eat it, too. I mean, he wants to have relations with you, but he wants the keep the security of the current girlfriend. Sounds like too much complication to me. Kick him to the curb.

ummm. So yah'll are not dating right? if you guys are then just go for him already, if he does like you and you seem to like him then do it. why is he dating some one else . i say that if he really does love you or w/e then he should stop dating that girl.. So go and be wit him

He probably means he would love you if he were single. Why try to read more into it than is really there? Seems pretty straightforward to me.
