I am in the process of building a new home in the next year. I was wondering, how does the process go about when all the blueprints are done and finding a contractor? Like do you just hand in the plans for your home to a contractor and just wait for bids?

As above, Let someone who has gone thru the steps do it for you
Finding a contractor is your choice. The permit process is the
nerve racking part if you have never done it and too much to type in here. Happy Home.
