No jsut get a good camcorder that you can record and take pictures with and then use the apple's movie editor to jazz it up. you can use windows movie maker but apple's is better

You choose a camcorder based on its performance level when being used for its intended purpose, recording video. When they start combining features (mp3, photo, etc...) you have to wonder how much time they spent ensuring that the video quality is top notch. If you want an mp3 player, get one. If you want a video camera, get one. Just don't get one device that does everything. Are cellphones that take video any good? Maybe at being a phone they are, but the video quality usually sucks because that was not its intended purpose.
