One night stands aren't about right and wrong. I think they empower women, as long as women play by the rules. So practice safe sex, know why u're in it for (for pleasure or for self validation?) and be clear with the guy: no strings attached. Once you've consumed your desire for someone, that desire is usually burnt. However, my opinion, and yes girls, let's be honest, we've ALL had our share of one night stands, and God knows the sex ain't amazing each time, so I think I'd rather have a sex buddy, you know, like one stable available guy, who knows my body well by now, of whom I know the sexual history and I would feel safer I guess. However, if he finds a girlfriend then u'll have to give up your sexual agreement. Sex toys remain our most dependable friends I guess!!

there is nothing wrong with having one night stands and if that feels good then do it because that's what you want to do.. It's better then getting in a committed relationship just for sex(not saying i've ever done that).. seriously though, it can be a fun thing and not everything has to be so serious all the time...

I dont believe a one night stand happens on purpose, but because you were drunk/depressed etc. I dont see anything really wrong with it if it happens every so often like once a year, twice would be pushing it,and anymore would be murder. As long as your safe and responsible about it, have fun and do your thing. There may be a downfall in the morning when you realize you did it,just dont come crying when you get an std though ...

I agree with Pammie, one night stands take the fun out of dating , getting to know some one or possibly building a long term committment which usually last alot longer than one nights. And there is a disease called HPV that is a virus that sheds beneath condoms while having sex , so be careful.

As long as both are consenting adults.. there is nothing wrong with it.. using protection of course. There is no time table for waiting, you should just wait til you feel comfortable about it. I have yet to meet someone i wanted a one night stand with though.

I went on a bender this fall, and it's fun to a point. And after you get it out of your system you start looking for something more relationship like. It's not wrong, but it wears thin. I usally picked a guy out of the night club and had fun for the night, as for waiting went the place closes ask then;)

Can you believe in that?
After I got married I kinda wished I had experienced it! But I think you should at least wait 4 -5 months. There's so much more to it then the physical part. You SHOULD wait til marriage.

One night stands are dangerous and risky. When I was single I did not do one nighters - I would wait about 2-3 months before sleeping with the guys.

My first time was a one-night stand. I felt wonderful afterwords. No apologies. Sometimes you just need sex for sex and don't want the whole flowers and dinner deal. It's worked for guys for ages, why not for women too?

I believe in it only because sex is healthy! But as a fact girls get attatched really easily so its hard on the girl after she had a one night stand
