Does anyone know where the surname BASABE comes from?

I've heard of roots in Puerto Rico and Morocco but I've also heard of Basabes from other countries. I was just curious if anyone knew the true root

It apparently comes from the Basque region of Spain. Here is a link that might help and hopefully you can take it from there.
