I have found that Nioxin worked better for thinning in the front. It makes your skin tingle, which is kind of interesting. But you will notice new hair coming in within a couple of weeks. I have heard that it really depends on what the cause of the thinning is in the first place.

I used Arbonne's Thermal Fusion Hair and Scalp Revitalizer on a patch of hair at the top corner of my hairline. It worked for me, I saw a difference within about 3 weeks.
I have never used Rogaine, so I can't say if it works or not.

Yes, but it only works on the back part of the head. Not the front. Other drugs can do the front portion though.

I did but make sure you wear plastic gloves when putting it on. I have the hairiest hands now.
