I have been having upper right abdominal pain since after i had my youngest daughter ( which was 15 months ago) I have been to the doctor. they said it is my gallbladder and they can't do anything until it becomes life thretening! can anyone help?

that is a bunch of BS!!!!!
they can go right in there and take it out right away. I suggest that you see another doctor soon. The next time you have a gallbladder attack, it could be worse then the last. And don't fret, mine was bad for over 2 years before they found out what it was, and then they did the laperscopic surgery, and it is same day. You visit another doctor soon, and BS on the other one!

If they are sure it is your gall bladder, there is no reason they can not remove it without it being life threatening. I had mine removed after a few attacks and was out of the hospital in two days with no restrictions. Get a second opinion right away and have it done so you don't have to go through any more pain needlessly.

If you're having consistent pain, you should consult another doctor so you can get a referral to a surgeon. I had problems after I had my first child, and I had mine removed 8 weeks after I had her. A gall bladder issue is rarely life threatening...not sure why your doc would say such a thing. No one should have to live with unnecessary pain!

Seems like a rather bizarre answer for a doctor to give. I think I'd get a second opinion
