I don't like organized religion.

Well, actually, I am rather fond of the Church of Reality. Other than that, don't like it.

First, believing in religion is a meaningless statement. Religion is simply a word to describe the collection of various faiths and doctrines and beliefs.

Second, They are not even close to the same. Most religions, judaisim, hinduism, bhuddism, islam etc, all talk about a way to god by man's efforts. Christianity says that man cannot do it so god gives it as a gift.

Judaism, Islam, Christianity, are all monotheistic. Most others are polytheistic.

The christian god is triune. Other faiths reject such a notion.

The wiccan religion rests on spells and charms whereas most monotheistic religions reject such things.

To say they are the same is simply showing a lack of study of them. I would reccommend a good comparitive religions course.

If you don't believe in religion, do you believe in God? Religion is the same belief as what? Are you saying all religion(S) are the same?
I think you could phrase your question so it could be understood by more people.

It is hard not to believe in religions -- I have hard facts that they exist.

No -- I do not believe that all religions are basically they same. There are enormous differences between Eastern religions and Western religions.

I even see huge differences between the Protestant Religions and the orthodox Christian religions (e.g., Roman Catholic and Eastern Rites). The Protestant religions lack the logical consistency of the orthodox churches, but the orthodox religions have lost touch with society.

Religion is a very vague term. Religion is anything that is worshiped or consumes your life. Everyone has a religion, even if you don't admit it. If your favorite thing in life to do is fishing, then fishing is your religion. If your number one desire in life is to be the best at fishing that is your religion. We all have some religion so you cannot say you do not believe in it.
