Just curious if I spent to much money on my kids this year for Christmas. So my question is... How much on average do you spend on your kids for Christmas?

I do not spoil my kids. They are 10 and 12 and they want more expensive things. We all know the true meaning of Christmas. I just want them to know that i see that they are good kids and do deserve to have nice things.

It depends on your budget for gifts. We choose not to go in debt for gifts. We'll probably spend $50- $75 each on our two children. They are 2 and 5.

Every year I ask my 13 yr. old daughter what she wants and I always get the same answer...."What ever." So the way I see it she can complain when I spend "What ever" I feel she deserves. Usually, it is about $100.

My two yr. old daughter would be easy to overspend on. However, I don't want her to be spoiled, so she'll probably have $100 spent on her too.

Everyone should remember the true meaning of Christmas! It really should not be about how much money we spend, but the time we spend with our family!

My husband and that i only ate there some nights in the past. We spent $120 5, which include tax and tip. We had drinks and an appetizer interior the bar even as we waited (about 40 5 minutes). I had the Benihana particular (Steak & Lobster) $35, and my hubby had the Rocky's particular (Steak & hen) $25. Our meal got here with soup, salad, a shrimp appetizer, fried rice, and greens-that is a lot of foodstuff. that is likewise very pleasing to visual show unit the chef prepare the meal. There are different a lot less expensive options, which include hibatchi hen , that you'll order that include the soup, salad, etc. also, in case you drink non-alcoholic drinks it may avert money.

now my kids are 19 and 21 and I usually get them a ski pass which is 400.

but when they were 10-15 200, and under 10 it was 100.

my gf gives about 700 each, worth of presents to her 4 kids and is ridiculous, not only do they complain and complain that they didn't get enough they usually loose or trash their presents before 6 months is out.

It takes her a couple of months to pay for all this crap and she does this year after each pathetic year.

Just keep it simple and the kids wont grow up to be greedy bastards.

It depends on the year. Sometimes I have more $ than other years. I'd say about $500 each. They are teens and it adds up quick. A lot of their stuff is stuff they need and have to wait until christmas to get. Last year was an exception, they both got a dirtbike. That was it.

My daughter is 4 this year ... so I think Christmas is going to be really fun for her ... in the past I've probably spent anywhere from $ 100 to a few $ 100 on toys, clothes, books ... etc ... this year me & my BF are buying her a dirt bike - yeah try a few thousand ... lol ... but worth every penny to see her face when she gets to ride it for the first time ... !

That's a tough one. I probably spend way more than I think. I start shopping in October because i make very little. A little bit here and there adds up alot. I have an 8 yr old, 3 year old, and 1 year old. So because they are young, shopping is less expensive. Maybe 500.00 or less. (And I think it's a lot..)

I don't have any of my own children but I buy for my cousins, neices and nephew...I don't know that I've ever totaled it up but because I have a large family I probably try to average around $10-$15 a kid....sometimes I spend a little more depending...Like last year I bought my nephew a Roboraptor for $80 just because I knew he'd LOVE it! :)

Do you love them? Are you spoiling them?

If you answered 'yes' to the first question and 'no' to the second question, then you didn't spend too much.

Merry Christmas!
