We were thinking of having a free-will offering pancake breakfast at our church as a fund raiser. And was thinking, perhaps I should gather the stats first from others who have done this in the past. Can you please share with us your experiences etc. Thanks!

It might not be the first time around... but if it is well organized and the chow is good...and you do not get all heavy with the God stuff on those who attend from the outside... word of mouth could cause it to grow into an event to attend... some not overtly religious entertainment would help... I know of several churches that have "feeds" of one kind or another and usualy are at least breakeven...and are good PR events for the church.
