At school I usually eat either from the fast food line ( chicken sandwich tator tots) or from the pizza line thats just on school days. Days when I'm off or on the weekends I eat whatever I crave on that day. =)

Well, this usually depends on where you live, where you work, what you wish to spend if you decide to purchase lunch. Plus, many people also consider their dietary means. Are they on a diet or just a restricted consumption of certain foods, such as what they may be allergic to.

Many people regardless of where they live and work make sure they get their daily "fat" intake, which is never good. Many people tend to become lazy with eating, it's just drink a cup of coffee in the morning or grab a snack bar for the drive into work or on the way to school, allowing themselves to "pig out" at lunch on silly things, like burgers, fries and milkshakes.

Many people don't realize that by not eating a proper breakfast, like something as cereal or something hot, (it doesn't mean you have to sit down to bacon and eggs, orange juice and coffee), but, it does set good practice for a better lunch.

Some eat greasy food day in and day out which is not good for the body in every way imaginable, and many factors will play into the long run of their lives. heart disease, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. They say, "Oh but I'm fine now," or "It doesn't run in my family," "i'm active all the time." Regardless, if you don't eat healthy now, you will pay later for a most early death.

It is generally recommened that those off to work, school, or place-to-place sit down or at least try to sit down for a more healthy lunch, like a salad. It is advised for most people that they make a large salad at home and just take small quantites throughout the week or something of the like. Salads today that are produced by fast food restaurants tend to load their salads up with sugars and additives.

Plus, it's better to eat six smaller meals throughout the day as opposed to three large meals. Like a snack bar and some pretzels around 11.00 am, then something around noon or after.

It's also different for those who eat out with clients. Many major companies and firms in cities take clients and co-workers out to lunch, which can consist of larger-scaled lunches such as some sort of appetizer, soup, then a larger entree and perhaps coffee, tea or dessert afterwards.

Different cultures have different tastes, figuritively and literally speaking. Here in the United States, it's pretty much grab what you can while on the run. However, as it is like minded fast-paced industry in Japan, somehow this nation still sets aside time at lunch to sit down and eat with total strangers and get along. Meanwhile, in Britain, when it's mealtime, lunch or dinner, brunch or breakfast, bells will tell the hour and people take their time. It's as if time slows down. There's even a time set aside about 4pm for "Tea Time."

As much as we Americans should be facing the increasingly obesity problems and other dietary conditions, we are not and we will face seriously concerns later in life these mistakes. Even if you sit down to a lunch by yourself at home, this could be trying for yourself because there's more at hand as to you only eating a snack bar on the run at work.
