Are (free-will offering) spaghetti suppers profitable?

We were thinking of having a free-will offering spagetti supper at our church as a fund raiser. And was thinking, perhaps I should gather the stats first from others who have done this in the past. Can you please share with us your experiences etc. Thanks!

I'm not sure about just spaghetti, but anything served with fried fish makes a killing where I'm from.
