well, he shouldn't be like "oh you're my TYPE" out of the blue, there's better and more subtle ways of telling her that you like her. if it was me, and he said it a decent way, i'd consider it and maybe go out with him if i liked him back. if i didn't like him that way, i'd tell him so, but i'd probably not feel as comfortable around him again. but you gotta take that chance if you wanna let her know how you feel....and you should have at least a slight idea about how she feels about you already, since you guys are friends.

If a guy friend told me I was his type and I liked him too- I would be willing to give it a try as long as I didn't think it would ruin our friendship. If I didn't like him that way, then I would be worried about hurting his feelings and tell him that it's better that we just remain friends.

If I thought the guy was my type too then I would be flattered but if he was not, I would just say "I just want to be friends". I guess it all depends on body language. You can basically tell if someone likes you by the way they look at you.

i in particular will feel offended because there's a better way of telling somebody that you like her. That is a harsh statement and i know most matured gals will think the same.Don't feel too good for anybody because you might be short in some criteria.Watch the words they might be offensive than you think.

She would know that she is his type, and that if she were interested she would thus have a chance. I think if you are interested, don't play games, just come right out and ask her out. She will appreciate your honesty, and the suspense will be over.
