Whatever you do DO NOT cash the check!! What you have received is the latest in the infamous 419 ,or Nigerian(go to http://www.snopes.com/crime/fraud/nigeria.asp for more information about the 419 scams), scams.
I also got something very similar to this back in July. It was a check for $2,994.95 from Accu-Weld High Performance Windows And Doors in Pennsylvania and a letter stating that I had won the British Random Lottery. I knew it was a scam right away because I knew I had never entered such a lottery and I've gotten countless emails just like that over the years. When I got this letter and check in the mail I reported it to the US Postal Inspector. If you're in the US then I highly suggest that you do the same. These people need to be stopped as soon as possible.
You can contact the postal inspector by filling out the form at http://www.usps.com/websites/depart/inspect/fraud/MailFraudComplaint.htm
I hope this helps. Good luck!!

Since you spelled check the American way I doubt very much you'd be entered in the Royal Brittish Lottery....
It's a scam, DO NOT give these people any of your financial information. If they gave you a check, then just tear the thing up. Don't even bother trying to cash it because these people have no intention of giving you any money. All they want is information on your bank account so they can steal your identity and screw you over. It's called "phishing".

Chances are very good that its a scam.
But, here's the first question I have: Did you enter/buy a ticket for the Royal Brittish Lottery? Other questions: Is there even such a thing? Did you try to "google" the Royal British Lottery? Yahoo search?
Bottom line, if you weren't expecting a check and its not from someone you're familiar with, don't cash it.

I advise that the better reduce for contributions be performed away with, and that the utmost payouts in retirement nonetheless proceed to be as they're, adjusted for inflation. Social safe practices isn't a "supply away" application yet one which all of us make contributions to love a coupon prices plan, and must be shielded from different makes use of with the aid of the authorities. Do you settle or disagree and why? if you're so apprehensive about it then why no longer; first positioned it decrease back into the own sector and make to were no can take out funds from it for his or her own interest, second pay decrease back each penny you've borrowed from both Social safe practices and Medicare, third take the unlawful immigrants off of it and those who come over the following yet under no circumstances paid a penny to it, and finally have it the same for each body; in different words authorities officials are to participate in it and in the experience that they opt for something extra they do it on their own without the tax payers funding it?yet, the business stytem feeding the imbalances had under no circumstances been quite replaced. They, a collection of scholars, stated that each body prices of interest might want to be 3% or a lot less for each body to change into prosperous if wanted (that must be genuine also to taces). the suited economic difficulty might want to be, they stated, at the same time as there have been no prices of interest. Why no longer attempt this answer? the prosperous might want to nonetheless be prosperous. My question is: at the same time as soial safe practices will change right into a topic correct to federal debts, why no longer paintings with a balanced or income budget and spend no more desirable than is presented in, as any relatives has to attempt for? Why no longer ban all loobying presents with a view to get guidelines that serve the rustic? God bless u . s . a ..
