Aside from my father, I wish I could be Eric Blair (George Orwell). His ability to write and create is something that I can only wish I'll ever achieve, and his mind was sharp, right up until his death. His works and thoughts will stay with mankind right up until such time as "1984" threatens to become reality (now, anyone?), and may even provide a spark of intellect for those willing to resist.

Sounds corny - but - my Mom. She's full of unconditional love, fair, honest, and smart. She does lots of volunteer works, has many friends and her family adores her. She leads such a wonderful, blessed life - and I'd love to touch the world in the same way that she has managed to do.
