Ok. So I like this guy who seems to like me. But I don't anything at all about him. all I know is he's in the year above me. I don' know whether it would be right to try and genreate a conversation out of thin air. Or Even start the conversation! I'd really like to have a Bofriend for varied reasons but just to "have" someone. I want to find more about him. I don'tknow any of his friends. How do i say hi? How do Show Him who i am?

Well, if you see him in passing, try accidentally bumping into him and knock some of your books to the ground. Apoligize for bumping into him and strike up a convo. If he helps you pick up the books and also apoligizes then you know you are on a roll. Don't try to setup a date, but see if maybe later he'd like to come over to chill. Go on girl! Get yourself that man

When you see him just smile and say hello as if it's something quite natural for you to do. Don't follow him or go all giggly or you may embarrass him. Hopefully he will smile back and say hello. Don't be too upset if he doesn't say anything. If you just happened to see him again a couple of days later, you could smile again at him and say Oh Hello again, as if you know him. If he is interested, I'm sure he will smile or say something this time. If he still is showing no interest move on.

The next time you walk past him, smile, look into his eyes.
The time after, say hi. Nothing too heavy.
Keep these meetings short and sweet, then when you have built up enough courage, ask him a question i.e football, about his team. (Do research, it pays).
