im seeing this guy casually and i really like him.he wants to take things further sexually.i do too cause i really really like im but im worried cause we are not dating.i feel that if he was really interested in me, he would date me.
he still wants to meet up even though i wont take things further sexually.
is he just confused as to what i want?i do keep giving him mixed signals by staying at his place all the time.
he knows i came out of a 6 year relationship 8 months ago too.

All you can be is totally honest.
If he can tell you that he wants to take things further sexually, then you can tell him you want to be dating first. If he doesn't respect that...like him or not, leave him.

Doesn't sound like you're telling him what you expect, i.e. a relationship before sex. Guys don't read minds and they don't read actions or body language or what you think you're telling him with everything you do besides speech. They understand what you tell them in plain words. Just have the conversation about taking your relationship further. You want to have a monogamous relationship and sex is not an option otherwise. If he just wants to keep it casual, then he'll tell you that.

Maybe if the two of you start seeing eachother more often, maybe you should move on from your past relationship and just think about the future. Give this guy a try, you don't have to have sex straight away.
Talk to him at length, try to tell him how and what your feeling, see if he'll open up and do the same.

I would not take things further sexually if you are not in a dating relationship. You should talk to him. Guys like to make us think they know what women want but the truth is they are dumb. We basiclly have to come out and tell them what we want. I would suggest telling him that you like him alot and will only go further sexually if you are in a dating relationship. Take things slow, hope all goes well.

Maybe you should make the suggestion to go out and do things together and see how receptive he is. Of course he's confused, if you are staying at his place all the time he probably thinks you don't have to go out and do things. If that is what you mean by dating.

Sounds like you are not ready to go all the way....
Take your time and if he is trully interested he will stick around and even start dating you....

i think he may just wanna get laid hun...he's not dating you, or taking you out, or even making a commitment to you...so he may be after sewing his wild oats and that's it...if you have sex with him, he may just dump you afterwards...do be careful....i may be wrong but it seem like he's just after getting in your knickers and that's it
