I think that isn't really helping our if they don't pay back. They oviously have their own brain to think, and they also have to earn their own money, just like everybody else!
Besides, if you have a real friend (withing a family member) then they wouldn't come just for the money.

If money comes between two people, that can only mean busines. Not Friend at the same time. Thanks for reading.

You are entitled to your opinion, especially since he asked. But remember the old adage "Neither a borrower nor a lender be.."? When and if I give money to a friend or family member I never expect to get it back. It is a consumable product and will come back to you...not necessarily monetarily.

You did the right thing by telling him not to loan her any more money especially if she makes no attempts to pay it back and only comes around when she needs money. You said you and your bf reside together so I'll assume you pay bills together or split them 50-50 his first responsibility is to take care of his household not his cousins.

No way. Youre just trying to help him because you care right. If somebody is using him then you should open his eyes and tell him. Theres nothing wrong with that.

either i absolutely do NOT loan money to anyone OR
i GIVE money with no expectations of being paid back
....this "rule" saves a-lot of hard feelings
