Actually, Leonard Nimoy is Jewish. He got the Vulcan peace sign from a Rabbi at a synagogue.

That's part of the reason I've always liked Star Trek. All the races, and different species, get along so well! That show was so far ahead of its time. We could learn a few lessons from Gene Roddenberry, bless him.
