When I was younger, yes I did. I made 2 attempts. My life was complete chaos when I was with my parents. They were too young to know what to do with a child, but too proud to give up. from the time I was 3 I felt like their parent.

Sure it is normal when parents make you stay home etc e6tc or your boy friend or girlfriend breaks up with you but The thought is not serious and if you are thinking this more than a thought for the moment then go and seek profession help and get under a dr"s care You will meet other people in your age group and find out you are not alone,,,Good Luck

Yes. it is one of the symptoms of depression.
It is recommended to seek medical help immediately if one feel an urge to harm one self. Just walkin any ER service or call a Suicide help hotline. The numbers can be found in yellow pages.

It is rather common and nothing to be ashamed of. Do get help immediately if it happens.

Probably not in the sense that you mean. I've never been compelled to do it, but I've wondered whether you hear the shot and are aware after you shoot yourself in the head, or if death in instantaneous that way. And I've wondered how many pills it would take to kill me, and how long it would take. And I've wondered what it would feel like to jump or drive off bridges I've been on. I'm a little morbid, maybe, but I've never felt suicidal.

About ten years ago I was suicidal. I was tired of living. I cut my wrists, not knowing that in order to die from that, you have to cut deep down almost to the bone. I swallowed seventeen sleeping pills once, but all that did was send me into a lethargic state for three days. I'm not suicidal anymore.

Probably more people have that will not respond to you. We all have times where we doubt, suffer, question. And it is accompanied by the desire to end it...maybe not with conviction. My kids died, my wife left. I went thru years of feeling sorry for myself, then a friend committed suicide. It hit me, so many of us were shocked and sad. His family was worked over. Suicide is a selfish decision. Better to ask for help and wait. For friends to monitor and help. For family to show love and acceptance. To keep him from hurting himself. To keep him occupied. We can do a little.

I did comtemplate suicide when I was younger because I did not have any friends, I did not fit in with anyone in my age group and I felt alone. Even though I had family that loved me, that was not enough.

Yes, I have

Had a bad childhood, crappy adolescents, and no family. Mother died giving birth, father when I was 10 years old. Heart attack. So went to live with my uncle who was insane. After he died, I was alone and had no living family...never liked the holidays as you can imagine.
